Some quarantine friendly ideas & a gift guide!

24 April 2020 -

Celebrating during these times can be complicated, and as holidays, birthdays, and milestones come and go, we’ve been thinking about how to make moments to remember. Distanced or not, Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and we wanted to share some ideas for making the most of the occasion, regardless of where you or the women you love are.

If you’re in the midst of making plans for the day or need some ideas, this post is for you! Scroll through to read some recommendations for how to celebrate and shop our gift guide at the bottom!

Support a local florist, or get your green thumb out.

Mother’s day is synonymously associated with florals, and now is the perfect time to support local florists in your area who may be delivering. Try using this tool to search your zip-code and see what your options are!

If you want to get your hands dirty, why not surprise someone you love by planting some seeds or blooms in their yard? Imagine waking up to a new bed of flowers outside of your window. Need we say more?

If the weather is nice where you are, lay out a blanket, bring the breadboards, and get a breath of fresh air along with a change of scenery.

Treat yourself

You don’t need someone to make you breakfast in bed to feel the love. If you’ll be by yourself this year on Mother’s Day or if you’re in need of some alone time, try to schedule an hour of me-time to watch your favorite show, read a book, or take a virtual museum tour!

Here are some of our favorites:
