Did you catch yesterday’s webisode? We toured the master suite, hallway, mudroom, laundry and powder of our SM Ranch Project. Today we’re taking you into the master suite!
You’ll recognize the same elements from the previous photo tours, like moody finishes, natural wood, paneling, and trusses with steel cables. The Master Suite has a fireplace with the same stone as the exterior of the house. We wanted the space to feel soft and light, so we used linen and soft textiles on the bed. We incorporated a mix of materials from the metal chest next to the fireplace, and light nightstands.
The hand-knotted texture in this rug has worn-in character that ties in with the wood beams and stone fireplace.
The artwork is a reflection of the actual landscape of the space surrounding the home!
Recipe for the perfect sitting area:
Our clients wanted the master bathroom to feel serene. We accomplished that with the palette. We started with a dark gray tone in the stone floors, then tied it in with a silver finish on the tone. It contrasts to create warmth with the light above.
A beautiful view + an even more beautiful lantern for every bath you take!
We love real marble! But when you do a steam shower, contractors recommend a faux. It turned out beautiful!
You won’t be surprised to find out that the space called for a vintage rug to tie in with the art.
This artwork brings cleansing peace and serenity— making it ideal for a bathroom!
We’re obsessed with the pivoting hinge!
