Summer isn’t over yet! You’ve still got some time to host an amazing outdoor get together. The guests could include your family and friends, or even just you and your favorite citrus-inspired recipe. Here are our tips for making an entertaining-ready outdoor space in the summer.
FIRST OF ALL, GET COMFORTABLE
Our line of indoor/outdoor pillows are designed to last, make life beautiful, and make life comfortable. Time and weather have nothing on their ultra-durable and weatherproof material. Each has classic stripes that are versatile and lightweight for various design styles. We even like the idea of playing with the orientation of the square — featuring them vertically or horizontally. They’re ultra-durable and weatherproof, yet soft to the touch. Don’t fret— not only will they not fade in the sun, but they can also be bleached!
Planters are substantial, grounding, and beautiful hosts for your plants and trees. Each is made in a natural, neutral finish that nods to the great outdoors. Each is made in the USA and goes through a production process with a hand applied water-based patina.
BRING THE INDOORS OUT
Yep, we usually advise the opposite. We love incorporating natural elements indoors! But when entertaining, you’re often preparing a delicious spread inside, bringing the meal and dishware outdoors. You’ll need a tray, and beautiful napkins – and definitely a table runner.
DON’T FORGET TO SET THE TONE.
With an indoor/outdoor rug! With details like fringe and little beaded stripes, we love the thoughtful accents of each indoor/outdoor rug. They’re designed from plastic bottles recomposed into a soft yarn, each is handwoven into a durable option for the outdoors. These rugs bring practicality to any setting. Just hose them off with ease when they get dirty!
A tablecloth is another way to set the tone.
*MIGHT WE SUGGEST
Adding a table runner! Place an array of dishes, or just a simple floral arrangement on a runner to make everything look more sophisticated and classic. Layer it over a table cloth for a layered affect. Our stylist loves them styled both directions of the table.. so short table runners can work on long tables and vice versa!
