Calabasas Remodel: Outdoor Spaces Reveal + Webisode

We're back with the LAST install of our Calabasas Remodel! Get a tour of the exterior and outdoor spaces of this California Home. Get caught up with the rest of the Casita Spaces by checking out the Guest Suite and the Lounge.

Throughout all of the outdoor spaces we wanted them to flow nicely while still designing each to feel unique. The blue/gray color palette, woven materials, and wood tones are present but incorporated in different ways.

You actually walk through the courtyard before the front door, so it was important to make this area welcoming! The warm wood against the painted white exterior is just what it needed. When possible, we love to anchor outdoor spaces with an indoor/outdoor rug. We chose a dark, navy, diamond pattern that would stand out against the lighter furniture. (The one we chose is no longer available but this is similar!)

Right off of the formal living and dining rooms is another seating area by the pool. We had enough room to divide the patio into two zones for seating and eating.

We love the layered, coastal feel of this nesting table

The mix of seating is a delicate mix of furniture that matches and then adding in a few other pieces that create a more eclectic vibe. The hanging rattan chair in the corner was the perfect way to mix things up. We designated the seating space with an indoor/outdoor rug and broke up the wood tones with a great concrete table. Our white sand pot has a great organic quality that looks good indoors and out.
