Holiday Hosting 101

We've tried to do all we can to prepare you for the holiday season. From setting the table to styling the front door, and trimming the tree! But can anything prepare you for hosting your family and friends overnight? In order to make things easier for you, and more comfortable for them, we put together a guide to our favorite products. They'll feel so warm and welcome that they'll be happy to stay long, but hopefully not too long!

#1: A place to refresh

A good bathroom is crucial. We always create a space that will feel like a getaway and spa-like experience for our clients, and you should do the same for your guests. Have them leaving the space feeling as relaxed and refreshed as they would at home.

#2: Pretty Decor

Something about beauty is soothing and comforting, so a beautiful space works magic on your mood. (I guess that's the reason our team has a job, right?) Having decor that brightens up the space, while having pretty books to flip through is a great way to entertain without the television.

#3: Fill the home with winter scents

The scents of winter make the snow almost bearable. Fresh pine, elderflower, juniper and geranium are our go-to scents for soaps and lotions while we set the mood for the rest of the home with a festive fir and grapefruit candle. Commit to a wonderful smelling home with aromatic surface cleaner and dish soap

#4: Winter-Friendly Fabrics and Textures

In the colder months, we like to keep a throw blanket ready to grab at any time. We might say that we add them for texture and flair, but really we just live in Utah. (Did someone say snow in April?) We switch out all of our rugs for high-pile, plush rugs that are soft and warming at the touch and make the space feel cozy.
