Continuing on from our Foothill Drive Project, phase two is a collection of newly designed bedrooms! From soft color palettes and feminine details, to bold blues and light fixtures, we had a lot of fun adding sweet charm to the kids' rooms.
With the room's natural light, we created an airy feel starting with the wall color. It's the softest pink called Melted Ice Cream from Benjamin Moore.
There was an extra little closet in the room that we felt was perfect for a play space! By adding wallpaper, the space was transformed into a hidden playroom (I'm cracking up over the doll falling over in the pic that we missed).
We fell in love with this gender-neutral herringbone wallpaper. It adds a subtle pattern play that can easily "grow up" with different accessories and colors as the baby grows or kids change rooms.
And always remember to anchor the art even if you're going for a leaned effect!
Every nursery needs a little cozy spot and this beautiful corner is perfectly set right next to a window.
This space started out with the existing bed, basket, and rug - good basics that needed to be dressed up! We're super into this bistro light fixture and knew this would be the perfect spot for it. The brass mirror ties in the light fixture and subtly alludes to a nautical inspiration when paired with the beadboard and striped rug. The mud cloth pillows adds graphic pattern and global inspiration for this little adventure's room.
