Rangeview Reno: Kitchen Nook

Kitchen nooks are generally one of the most used spaces in the home - they need to function as a place for homework, craft projects, breakfast, snacks and dinner. We usually start with selecting a table and then move from there. In this case, our client had an old zinc top table that they had been using for years and it still looked great, so we splurged on the Oly light fixture and paired it with RH chairs (that have a removable cushion made from Perennials outdoor fabric in "fog").

We painted the walls and doors here, but kept the big changes minimal as our client will be renovating the kitchen in a year or two. I love that it is a simple, happy space...and those kumquats on the table just make it even happier. With large, open windows plenty of sunshine enters the space and we're so jealous our clients get to enjoy their time here.
