The Oaks Project Full-Home Paint Guide
Every shade used throughout.
By far one of the most common questions we get is, “what is the paint color on the walls?” Here, all the information up front for our latest design client, The Oaks Project.
We’re loving the way our latest debut, The Oaks Project, perfectly balances between modern and traditional. There’s a sense of organic-ness throughout that ties the entire project in with its surroundings, a grove of oak trees in a San Antonio, Texas, neighborhood. Since we know we’ll get asked, we went ahead and rounded up every paint color used throughout the project, so you too can create a modern meets traditional aesthetic through colors.
A Rich White
Throughout the vast majority of the home, Shea and the design team opted for Sherwin Williams Futon. The rich, creamy white has the perfect amount of depth to warm up the modern architecture while leaving a clean palette for the home's unique collection of artwork.
A Muted Landscape
The walls of the home's primary bedroom are papered in Schumacher's Kobai in neutral. This same wallpaper is what you'll find in Syd and Shea's guest bedroom, which you can explore here.

A Light, Warm Neutral
On the bathroom cabinetry in the primary suite, Shea and the design team introduced another neutral that is slightly daarker than the home's common shade of Futon. Sherwin Williams' Natural Linen provides the perfect contrast.
A Cozy Brown
The locker-style cabinetry in the home's mudroom is painted in a rich, brown shade, Cocoa Whip by Sherwin Williams.
A Clean, Classic White
The cabinetry in the home's laundry room is painted in a simple white shade, White Dove by Benjamin Moore.
A Dark Green Hue
The lounge that the family likes to hang out in is painted in a moody green. Rock Bottom by Sherwin Williams covers the walls and ceiling for a dramatic look.
A Rich Gray
The walls of the family's TV room is painted in Benjamin Moore's Rockport Gray.
