The epitome of British style is Louise Roe and her brand, Sharland England’s nod to the nostalgia of the English countryside. Now available on McGee & Co.
Louise Roe started her career as a fashion staple, sitting front row at runways around the world. But before that, she was a carefree child raised amongst the quaint, picturesque beauty of the English countryside. Inspired by the impossibly chic dinner parties of her great grandmother, Marjorie Sharland, Louise launched Sharland England in 2021 as a nod to the “antique chintz, rattan, cane, and patina’d wooden furniture” that outfitted her childhood. Each piece is thoughtfully handmade, using storied techniques, natural materials, and the hands of skilled artisans. Her greatest joy, she says, is interior design, and now we get to reveal in the sweet nostalgia of her childhood stateside.
