Job: Ordering Specialist

  • JOB: ORDERING SPECIALIST

    We are looking for a hard-working, upbeat individual to join our fulfillment team. As part of the fulfillment team at McGee & Co., we strive to ensure that our customers have the same great feeling of quality products and service that they know from Studio McGee while they shop online. The fulfillment team works directly with the buying, customer experience, and operations team to make sure that our selection of products meets our brand and customer’s expectation all throughout the order process.

    The ideal ordering specialist is able to process customer orders quickly and accurately to ensure our customers have an amazing experience. They are happy, outgoing individuals, with a proactive approach. No egos here! This self-motivated candidate will demonstrate strong communication and verbal skills, as well as, have a sense of ownership by identifying areas of improvement for themselves and the rest of the team.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that the customer has the highest quality experience possible

    • Manage the dropship ordering process from beginning to end. This includes purchase order placement and scheduling delivery.

    • Ensure that orders and data are accurate  

    • Resolve order discrepancies

    • Monitor order status, communicating any issues or delays to other teams

    • Update and record information in multiple internal systems

    • Work closely with vendors to place, track and change order details

    • Work closely with Customer Service to help resolve customer issues

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Passionate about processing and reconciling a high volume of orders and transactional data

    • Willing to be flexible and cross-trained

    • Excellent email and computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

    • Previous order processing experience (preferred)

    • High school degree; BS degree a plus

     

    About the job:

    • This is a full-time position paid at an hourly rate.

    • We are looking for a commitment of approximately 35-45 hours per week, with availability between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST.

    • Overtime will be required during sales and promotions.
