Windsong Project: Loft, Girl's Room, Nursery

It's a new week and we've got more of our #windsongproject to share! Today we're moving upstairs to the kids' spaces (we'll be sharing half today and half tomorrow). First, the homework loft. It feels good to try something new and like the result even more than you imagined. This built-in with the natural wood backing is a great example of that.

PS. You can SHOP all of the rooms at the end of the post!

This little girl's room is the sweetest. I'm in love with the pink tongue-and-groove ceiling detail, but the kitty cat hamper might be my favorite thing in the room!!!

I think blue-green cabinets  are a great way to try something other than the usual neutrals (without taking a risk you'll get tired of quickly). We had most all of the bathroom mirrors in the house made by Bates Art Services

This nursery isn't too theme-y, but it still feels playful! It will be so easy to swap out the crib for a bed and really grow up with our clients' little boy. We love to take classic details like shiplap and shake them up a bit. Here we treated it like a wainscoting and I'm so happy with the way it turned out.
