Remodels are so fun to share because they always have great before/afters! This project is no exception. This was one of the very first projects we started working on when we first moved to Utah last August. The house is a 70s ranch style that had been through a pretty rough update by the previous owners.
Here is the before:
The layout of the kitchen/dining/living was not as functional as it could be, so we shifted the entire kitchen over to create better "zones" throughout. Our client wanted white, bright and a blend of traditional and modern. I think we achieved just that...
I love the stainless band on the hood - those details really take the design to the next level.
I have lots of favorites in this kitchen, but I think this glass front built-in might be my favorite! It's in stiff competition with the pellet ice machine hidden in the island...
As you can see, we had to fit a lot of functionality into this space - it is their kitchen, office, laundry, and mudroom! The custom inset cabinets were a big splurge, but I think the seamlessness of cabinetry really makes the space. And that beautiful brass hardware (of course).
