The Midway House: Master Bedroom

The goal for this master bedroom was to keep it calm, serene and elegant. The grid detailing on the main wall ups the level of the room, but keeps things feeling light and airy. I often like to design custom headboards for master bedrooms because they make a great statement piece. I love how the shape and scale of this one turned out. We decided on a medium gray fabric to contrast with the walls and make it easy to switch out the bedding and pillows down the road. 

The nightstands? Well, they are awesome. We loved the shape, but replaced the knobs with these in the matte satin brass...they make such a statement! And speaking of statements, don't even get me started on that beautiful rug.
