San Clemente Kitchen Makeover Before/After

Everyone loves a good before/after, right? In this project, our client's kitchen had great high-end appliances and the cabinets were in excellent condition. However, true to that Tuscan aesthetic that was so popular about 10 years ago...it was very brown. This home has large windows across the back with beautiful coastal views, but the dark tones were absorbing all that good natural light. Soooo we brightened everything up and now it is sunshine-y and happy.

A kitchen makeover might sound easy, but they can actually be quite involved! Here is what we did...

My client was dreaming of a white kitchen, and I always agree to that, so we painted everything white - cabinets (Valspar white lacquer), walls and ceiling (BM-White Heron). We also had custom legs made for the island, increased the thickness of the counters, added pendants, and replaced the sink and faucet. The backsplash is the prettiest hand-formed tile from Walker Zanger, countertops are Caesarstone "Frosty Carrina", the roman shade was custom, hardware is RH, and that cute striped runner is from Dash and Albert
